Sun City is proud to announce the new website for: Rachelle Anselmi and Suzanne Gantner of Sky Realty. They launched this community specific site after their clients in Sun City cried for new marketing techniques in the area. They were tired of the old marketing ways, “ if we stick it in the MLS, put a sign and lockbox, your home will sell sometime.” That is not a progressive way to market and our cliuents wanted more. Batter Up at the Round Rock’s Dell Diamond
Posted by: | CommentsTonight, April 16th, 2010, marks the 11th season of Round Rock’s finest baseball team, the Round Rock Express, which is owned by the Nolan Ryan family. Baseball will be in full swing tonight when the Express plays the New Orlean Zephyrs in a four day, four game series beginning tonight at 7:05. Opening night is always a big event with loads of entertainment and excitement. There will be many festivities including music by the Bugle Corps and The World Gone Mad Drum corp, who will kick the evening off. As the perfect ending to a perfect night, the Friday night fireworks are the best fireworks I have ever seen. They prove to be a GRAND Finale worth waiting for.
To add to the excitement, at Saturday’s game, Round Rock Express caps will be handed out to the first 2,500 fans. Sunday’s game is hosted by HEB Grocery Stores. This is a good night for Kids because at the end of the game, they will be allowed to run the bases plus Wiffleball bats will be handed out for even more fun.
Sunday’s game holds historic value in that 3 authors who wrote books on the Negro League will be in attendance. They wrote about players Jerry Craft, Dr. Robert Fink and Dick “Lefty” O’Neal who will also be present to sign autographs and books. Jerry Craft and Lefty O’Neal will be in attendance and it will be well worth the trip.
Monday night is hosted by the radio station Majic 95 and Mrs. Bairds bakery which celebrates $1.00 Hotdogs and sodas. Tickets run from $6. to $30 with special packages like Box Seats (per season) $550, Home Run Porch seats $350., Intel club seats are $1,500 or rent out the swimming pool area for $1,500 to $1,700 plus buffet. No matter what you spend or how you go seat wise, it is a great value and fun for kids of all ages. Drive out IH 35 to Round Rock, exit Hwy. 79 head east, go approximately 5 miles and the Dell Diamond will be on the left, you can’t miss it.
